Supporting our environment & local community

As part of a local initiative in supporting these goals, Kalyves Beach Hotel recently welcomed our little friends from the local Nursery School of Kalyves Village, who spent a day at the beach learning all about it's wonders and how to respect it.

The children were taught fundamental practices of not littering and the consequences of not looking after the beach and waters, as well as spoke to local fishermen who provided magical insight into the water's depths and their work on the boats.

Finally, the children were delighted to be offered treats and locally sourced drinks and snacks at the hotel after their eventful morning.

Back they headed to their school to discuss the day!
